"Young Master," Qin Yang had just finished speaking when a servant burst into the hall, clearly in a state of panic.

Qin Yang scowled at the frantic servant and reprimanded, "Why the rush?"

The servant, anxious and mindful of the news from the guards, had little choice but to be hasty. "Young Master, Huang Quan has arrived."

Qin Yang's eyelids twitched. "Who?"

"The Nangong girl," the servant explained in haste. "She's right outside the mansion gates."

"Very well," Qin Yang said. "I hadn't intended to seek her out, but it seems she's come knocking on our door willingly."

One of the cultivators chimed in, "Indeed, Mr. Qin, this could be an opportunity. If you're not concerned about her causing trouble within the house, you could let her in, and we'll assist you in handling her."

Qin Yang sneered. "A young lady from a fading family? What's there to fear?"

With that, Qin Yang ordered his servants, "Go and bring her in."

The servants promptly carried out his orders, and before long, they led Huang Quan into the hall, alongside other members of the Qin family who had heard the news.

Qin Yang glanced at the woman as she entered. He was momentarily surprised by her appearance, but the memory of the man before him, the one responsible for his father's death, transformed his surprise into hatred.

"I didn't expect Miss Nangong to have the audacity to come alone," Qin Yang sneered at Huang Quan.

Huang Quan, upon entering the hall, chose a nearby seat and settled in. Her nonchalant demeanor made the others in the room visibly uncomfortable. This was the Qin family, not the Nangong family; she shouldn't be more at ease than the Qin family members. Weren't they afraid the Qin family might harm her?

"Qin Yang," Huang Quan addressed the man, wasting no time on pleasantries. "I'm here today to resolve our issues, not engage in idle chatter."

"I kill your sister, you come for revenge; I kill your father, you come for revenge. If I kill you, will the Second Prince of Tianqi come next?" Huang Quan sneered. "You all line up like skewered candied haws on a stick, as if you think you can skewer everyone one after the other."

"It's rather vexing."

The members of the Qin family remained silent, their frustration evident, as they knew that what Huang Quan spoke was the truth.

Huang Quan's words only deepened Qin Yang's already displeased expression. He ground his teeth and challenged, "Huang Quan, since you know that I am the second prince's subordinate, why did you still dare to come here?"

Huang Quan, undaunted, met his gaze with a smirk. "What do I have to fear? Not only the Second Prince of Tianqi, but even Emperor Tianqi himself wouldn't deter me from coming."

"Young lady, you speak with such audacity," one of the men accompanying Qin Yang sneered. "A person from a mere small country, showing no respect for our Majesty and His Highness the Prince!"

"Are you accusing us of rebellion?"

Huang Quan responded with a sly grin, "You're quite the critic, aren't you? Let me put it bluntly. I don't hold Emperor Tianqi in high regard. If I were to utter something negative about the divine, does that imply I lack respect for God?"

"By your logic, if I were to suggest that Emperor Tianqi is plotting rebellion, would that also imply that God is conspiring against heaven?"

The man was left momentarily speechless.

Huang Quan continued, "You're not as articulate as you think." She glanced at the man with a wry smile before turning her attention back to Qin Yang. "I didn't come here to exchange words with you one by one. My purpose in coming today is to resolve our issues. Let's get to the point. Tell me, how would you like to resolve them?"
