Huang Quan sneered, "I brought it here to sell."
"Very good," the man acknowledged, then turned his gaze to the people behind him. "She should still have some on her, even if it's not the bone elixir. She should have something else. Arrest her."
Huang Quan muttered to herself, "Stealing pills, robbing money, and now kidnapping people in public... could they be any more shameless?"
"Yes," the man ordered, and Xu San and the others prepared to take action.
As they were about to strike, Master Ye, who had been infuriated, shouted, "You people are pushing it too far!"
"It's you who are being pushed around!" Xu San responded, raising his hand as if to strike Master Ye's face. However, just as it seemed the blow was about to land, someone grabbed Xu San's hand.
The anticipated pain never arrived. Master Ye, puzzled, opened his eyes. Before he could grasp what was happening, someone patted his shoulder and said, "Please step aside and make room for me." Confused, Master Ye moved back to give way.
Huang Quan, with one hand gripping Xu San's hand, removed her mask with the other. The mask came off, revealing a face that left the onlookers gasping in shock.
"Wow, this face is breathtakingly beautiful!"
"Why is she so stunning?"
"Hell, it's unbelievable!"
"Huang Quan! What is she doing here?"
"Xu San and the others are done for!"
At that moment, a chorus of thoughts echoed in the minds of the stunned onlookers.
"You wanted to kill me, steal my money, and now even try to kidnap someone?" Huang Quan stared at Xu San, her lips curled into an evil smile. "Why don't you go challenge the sun in the sky while you're at it?"
Xu San stammered in shock, "You, why are you...?"
"It couldn't be me?" Huang Quan replied with a smirk. "Weren't you here to carry out a mission to kill me?"
Huang Quan couldn't help but comment on the absurdity of the situation, "Qin Yuan's disciples can only afford a ten million bounty to have me killed? Is that all my life is worth?"
The onlookers grumbled, "It's really strange to complain about someone's bounty being too low when it's about your own life."
The burly man responded, "We did indeed accept the mission to eliminate you. I was planning to find you, but you've conveniently walked right into our trap."
The man continued, "Now that you're here, there's no way you're leaving." He raised a massive axe, and with a powerful swing, he aimed it at Huang Quan.
Seeing the man's attack, the onlookers quickly distanced themselves from the unfolding confrontation.
Xu San and his mercenary group had acted audaciously, not only because of their strength but also because of their association with the Qin family. If it were any other group acting so recklessly in the black market, they would have been dealt with long ago.
As the giant axe descended, Huang Quan didn't retreat but advanced, pushing Xu San into the path of the oncoming axe.
The man tried to halt his strike, but it was too late. The axe hit Xu San's head, creating a gruesome wound. Xu San stared at the boss he had been loyal to, his eyes filled with disbelief, before collapsing.
No one had expected this shocking turn of events. After accidentally killing Xu San, the burly man roared in anger and launched another attack on Huang Quan.
However, Huang Quan didn't dodge this time. Instead, she planted her feet firmly on the ground, jumped up, and delivered a powerful kick to the man.
